Founded in 2018, Caviar Tavassoli is a family-owned fish farm specialised in sturgeon. Located in the Caspian sea region of Mazandaran province, Northern Iran, we provide premium caviar as well as sturgeon meat to the global market from the original source. We believe in responsible aquaculture practice and work hard every day to ensure the health and well-being of our fish.
We specialise in raising sturgeon fish. Our fish are raised in a clean and controlled environment close to Caspian Sea, which is the natural inhabitant of Sturgeon fish, particularly Beluga. We are committed to sustainable practice that protect our environment and promote healthy ecosystems.
We take great care in every step of our fish farming process to grow them up to 90 kilograms for Caviar purpose and up to 15 Kilograms for meat purpose. We use only Caspian sea sprat (which is Sturgeon's natural food) for feeding our sturgeon and closely monitor water quality to ensure optimal growth and health.
Our Caviar are sustainably sourced from our own farm and also nearby certified farm in the Caspian sea region, which is the natural habitant of the Sturgeon fish. Our dedicated team of experts carefully selects and sources the finest sturgeon roe from sustainable fresh-water farms. We provide a variety of Sturgeon Caviar, including Beluga, Osetra, and Baerii. We provide tins of 10g, 30g, 50g, and 100g. We also provide mother tins of 1kg and 2kg for whole sale purposes. Please contact us for a quote.
Our sturgeon fish are are sustainably harvested off the coast of Caspian Sea and are carefully dressed (headless, tail off, and gutted) on site. The available bulk size ranges between 6 to 12 kg, averaging 9 kg.
Our Caviar products are CITES sealed. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) is a quality certification that guarantees the quality, origin and authenticity of the caviar. We also obtain official veterinary health certificates from local authorities for export of Caviar and Sturgeon fish.
1. Strictly chemical free farm.
2. Totally disease free environment.
3. Feeding fish with their natural food, the Caspian Sea Sprat (Kilka), without force feeding them, simulating their natural feeding pattern in the wild.
4. Drawing water from an underground well and, after use, naturally filter and recycle it to irrigate nearby rice farms. This process conserves water and supports local agriculture.
5. Ensuring Fish are given plenty of space to move around freely and have a current to swim.
6. Comprehensive in-house staff training in best practice fish husbandry methods.
